Saber bayonet for a Belgian copy of the French 1842 rifle- no scabbard. The blade is a German made export with the King?s head mark. Crown R marking on the opposite ricasso. Very likely a US Civil War import. Some edge nicks and the tip is slightly rounded. 23 mm MRD.
