Reference: British Commonwealth Bayonets B190
Very unusual in that the saw back has been removed. The bayonet is Solingen made by Alexander Coppel. Serial numbered on the blade tang. The blade is slightly off line with the hilt like some of the colonial models. The grips have been replaced by hard wood scales. This was likely done in India during the period of use. Very interesting bayonet.
