This is an unfinished scabbard from the 1988 era. Phrobis was testing a modified bayonet with a unique scabbard. This scabbard body was never completed by fitting the cutter plate and swiveling belt hanger. It is complete inside with the spring on the top side of the scabbard. Beautiful condition.
