Nice markings on ricasso and shank. Started off life as an AN IX Musketoon with the longer blade. The blade shortened to Infantry length. Locking ring works well. The Piedmont forces were armed with a variety of French arms that were abandoned when the Empire pulled back. The scabbard is missing the tip but has an Italian style frog stud rather than the French arrangement.
