German G3 bayonet w/s

Reference: Roger Evans article- Bayonets for Heckler & Kochy Assualt Rifles pg 15

This is what Roger Evans called the West German G3 Bayonet variant 2. It has the early shiny 12 groove hilt- the cross guard with a broad notched retention groove and a 9 o?clock catch profile. These are believed to have been made by Carl Eickhorn before 1975.
