This is a very unusual frog. It is designed to hold an exacavating tool with a shovel on one side and pick on the other. It has a removable handle that fits on the right side of the frog. The 1904 bayonet fits on the opposite side. The frog shows use and is missing the bottom strap that covers and supports the pick tip. Also the stitching is loose on the bayonet scabbard retention band below the frog pouch.
