US Civil War Replacement bayonet for a converted M1816 musket

These bayonets were made as replacements for missing bayonets during or just before the Civil War. 1816 style socket with 1855 style blade. Marked U.S. on ricasso. This has been painted black some time in the past. There are some patches of mild pitting but overall it is pretty nice.
