US Rev War socket bayonet n/s.

Wonderful example. The blade is roughly French styled. Three step mortise slot for a very slim bottom stud. There is a brazed line along the top of the socket. Either showing the way the socket was originally constructed or how it the bore was reduced at some point. It is a small bore- 19.5 mm.
