In 1861 J.Henry & Son purchased 437 saber bayonets from Collins & Company to fit some of the 952 rifles they produced in 1861-62. A Civil War bayonet made in very limited numbers with few surviving. Nice clear markings. Some very mild sharpening to the blade. Button works well. Numbered 11 on top of the ring.
